Since the VSCDA is a "not for profit" club that requires all race
drivers must be members. If you are not yet a member of this fine
organization, you need to join to participate in this event. A pdf file of
a temporary membership application can be found here.
My mission is to create a cohesive group of people and cars that are
interested in running a True Vintage Historic Trans-Am B sedan series in the
Midwest.
With
that said, in 2009 we will be trying to see if there is enough interest out
there to run a series in 2010 consisting of at least 2 races but possibly more.
My
desired vision is to get the group large enough and strong enough so that we can
have our own run group and be invited by other Vintage groups to run for there
crowds. I feel we need at least 25 regular cars to accomplish this goal. I have
heard many great stories from the old days of Trans Am and B sedan. Here's
our chance to create some of our own great memories.
The Cars are the Stars! We would like to see nicely prepared cars that you are proud of to show off the track as well as on.
Car
preparation :
We
will be to the 1972 SCCA GCR which will include Trans Am 2.5 Challenge
and B sedan and C sedan classes. While over prepared cars (larger
brakes, bigger engines) or under weight cars are welcome to run and join
us. They will not be able to compete for points or trophies until they
meet specified rules.
